About the role: The Vice Principal role at Quay is a unique opportunity to shape the lives of our pupils. Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and external professionals, you will contribute to the development of our school community and uphold our commitment to excellence in education. Support the Principal in creating, developing and evaluating the aims of the school in partnership with pupils, staff, governors and parents. Report & deputise for the Principal and governors in determining and managing a whole curriculum, in accordance with the abilities and needs of the pupils. Work collaboratively with members of the senior leadership team, middle leaders, teachers and support staff to ensure high quality provision and outcomes for students. Leading the academy in the absence of the Principal. Contribute fully to Quality Assurance and evaluate the findings from the information gathered and ensure appropriate action is implemented to raise student achievement and improve the quality of teaching and learning.
We are seeking applicants who are: - A proven leader with experience in driving school improvement or sustaining exceptional standards
- Experience working in a Primary setting with teaching experience across the school
- Experience of leading the Quality of Education
- Deeply committed to safeguarding, equality and inclusive education for all
- Passionate about your own professional development and the growth of those around you
- You will have a strong understanding of current educational priorities and be able to demonstrate how they will shape your vision for the school's future.
