Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time, Term Time Only
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per yearWe are pleased to invite expressions of interest from internal colleagues for the opportunity to undertake the role of Key Worker within the Additional Learning Support Team.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities- Provide flexible, responsive in-class and out-of-class support to learners with EHCPs, adapting approaches in real time to meet SEMH needs
- Deliver dynamic behaviour support using de-escalation, co-regulation, and trauma-informed strategies to promote positive engagement
- Build strong, consistent relationships with learners to increase trust, resilience, and readiness to learn
- Monitor and support learner attendance, proactively identifying barriers and implementing timely interventions
- Chair and coordinate EHCP annual reviews for a small cohort of identified key students, including gathering evidence, writing reports, and tracking progress against outcomes
- Develop, implement, and review individual support plans aligned to EHCP outcomes and learner goals
- Work collaboratively with curriculum staff, Youth worker team and Safeguarding teams to implement reasonable adjustments and promote inclusive practice
- Respond to emerging needs and incidents, providing on-demand support to maintain learner safety, wellbeing, and engagement
- Maintain accurate records of interventions, progress, and impact using college systems
- Contribute to safeguarding by identifying concerns and following college procedures to ensure learner welfare

- The confidence to chair meetings and liaise with a wide range of stakeholders.
