WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU:
Experience and an understanding of safeguarding and child protection issues, or be willing to undertake training in these areas;
Numeracy and literacy skills at least equivalent to RQF Level 2; good ICT skills are also desirable;
Experience of classroom teaching is desirable and knowledge of the teachers' professional standards is essential;
A good knowledge of music technology, practical music-making and a willingness to learn new skills is essential;
Knowledge and experience of maintaining a wide range of equipment & resolving technical issues;
Recording skills and experience of controlling a sound desk, particularly to support the recording of BTEC and GCSE music/drama exams;
Efficient and effective administration skills and experience to organise peripatetic music lesson timetables, ensembles and trips and events;
Evidence of a well-organised, adaptable and positive approach to work with competing priorities and deadlines, ideally in an educational setting, with experience of using SIMS and/or Classcharts;
Supportive of the school's excellent staff attendance and punctuality record which in turn supports student attainment;
A values-driven practitioner who is supportive of the Christian ethos of our school.
