About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will work in partnership with teachers to support pupils' learning, helping them to access the curriculum, develop independence and achieve their full potential.
You will play a vital role in supporting pupils academically, socially and emotionally, ensuring they feel confident, included and able to succeed. This includes delivering targeted interventions, supporting individuals and small groups, and contributing to a positive and engaging learning environment.
This role is vital in supporting our pupils and contributes to Lift Schools' mission that every child receives an excellent education in every classroom, every day.

Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will: - Support pupils' learning in the classroom and help them access lesson content
- Deliver targeted interventions and support individuals or small groups of pupils
- Help pupils develop independence and confidence in their learning
- Support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development
- Work closely with teachers to support planning, assessment and feedback
- Prepare learning resources and support the creation of a stimulating learning environment
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
- Support pupils on trips and during wider school activities
What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who: - Has GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent
- Has experience working with children or young people (desirable)
- Has a basic understanding of child development and learning (or willingness to learn)
- Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Shows patience, empathy and resilience when working with pupils
- Works collaboratively as part of a team and is committed to supporting all pupils to succeed
